  • What is AMITY JEE for?

     

    AMITY JEE is a state-level entrance examination conducted for providing admission to pursue Engineering in Amity colleges. The abbreviation of AMITY JEE is Amity Joint Entrance Examination. The exam is conducted annually only one time throughout the year in December. This exam is conducted to give admissions to the students in the colleges of Amity University. Although the mode of this exam is online, yet students are given the benefit of filling the application form through both online & offline mode. This exam is set only in the English Language. The exam pattern is very easy as compared to other exams, as it includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English.

    Exam Registration

     

    The registration form for the AMITY JEE examination is available on the exam’s official website. The registration can be done online. The application fee can also be processed through the online mode (through net banking, debit card, or credit card). Students/Candidates should register as a 'New User'. Candidates should register by providing their name, email ID, and mobile number.

     

    Exam Application Form

     

    After the registration process, candidates can start filling the application form. The application form contains sections like personal, academic, and contact details. Students have to provide correct details in certain sections like selecting the examination centre, uploading necessary documents, and more. Candidates/Students are asked to upload their scanned photograph, signature, degree certificate, or category certificate during the registration process.     Admit Card

     

    The admit card of the AMITY JEE examination will be available on the institute’s official website. Students can log into the account and download their admit card. There will be around 44 examination centres in the Andhra states. Admit card contains the name, photograph, and signature of the candidate. It also contains the examination date, registration number, enrolment ID, examination centre address, and its corresponding code.

    Exam Results & Answer key

     

    The answer key of the examination can be downloaded from the AMITY JEE official link given in the document after a month of the examination. Candidates can also find the exam result on its official website.

     

    Exam Eligibility Criteria

     

    • Students should have their mark sheets and all other necessary documents.
    • No upper age limit for applying in the exam.
    • Indian Nationals, PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholders are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
    • Students belonging to Kerala must have a certificate of domicile to apply for this examination.
    • Applicants also need to have at least 60 % marks for applying for the exam.
    • Students should have cleared their class 12 with the above-mentioned percentage.

     

    Exam Pattern

     

    The examination will be conducted for 120 minutes, which includes 90 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) of 4 marks weightage for each correct answer. For wrong answers, 1 negative marking will be considered in the exam. The paper will be set in the English language only. AMITY JEE 2020 syllabus contains easy and difficult level questions. The process of counselling and seat allotments are done based on marks scored by students, and the cut-off mark set by the colleges.

    Exam Counselling Process

     

    The examination is held by Amity University. After the result declaration, the cut-off mark is decided by the number of candidates, and the exam's difficulty level. After the declaration of the cut-off mark, the counselling process is undergone. Candidates can attend the counselling session after paying it fee.
